Russian Prison Day 10-5-2013

After almost 15 hours of tattooing, pictured above Phillip Wolves and Phil DeAngulo bring it home close to 2am in the morning.

Along side them at this ungodly hour, LSC shop owner Andy Johnson was cleaning up after having also tattooed all day. And apprentice Greg Lahm was still keeping the crew in good spirits. The boys were tired, but grateful and inspired. If you were at Long Street Collective yesterday hopefully you felt it. We were proud to share our Russian Prison Day with you. Thank you again to those of you who spent your time with us and to those of you who couldn’t get in, know we desperately tried! Despite the long day we’re already looking forward to next year, our 5th year RPD Anniversary paying tribute to a tattoo genre that came before us. Russian Prison tattoos.

By the Numbers: Nearly 40 tattoos/clients, 39 images to choose from, 4 pots of coffee, 5hr energies, 5 RedBulls, 1 birthday celebration, 3 amazing artists who are proud to work their asses off, and 15 hours of good times. Thanks again.
